What's New

Changes in XmlShell 1.2:

• New - Option: Whether to sort element attributes (/Config/Misc/@SortAttributes).
• New - Right-click (context) menu for Grid views.
• Fix - When typing in Grid views, the in-place edit box showed up even when no cells were selected.
• Change - Show warning when trying to save read-only files.
• Change - Show warning when trying to select an XML parser that is not installed on the machine.

Changes in XmlShell 1.1:

• New - Validation against DTD, XML Schema, or XML-Data Reduced (XDR) Schema.
• New - Include DTD Entity declarations in the entity popup list (Editor view).
• New - Smart insertion of surrounding text for "", '', (), [], {}, etc... (Editor view, Insert Element).
• Fix - When "ConvertChar" option was set to false, non-element data got lost.
• Fix - DTD Entity references got lost when switching views.
• Fix - Right click on the XmlTree view caused loss of changes made in the Editor view.
• Fix - Browser view crashed on some IE versions.
• Fix - Cancel saving non well-formed files brought up the "File might be Read-only" message.
• Fix - Short file name was displayed on the window title.
